# Send feedback about Lumae

Lumae is in beta, and this is the fastest way to reach me. Every message lands in my inbox and I reply from there.

## How to report

Use the form at https://lumae.app/feedback. It takes a category, your email address, and your message; it emails them straight to the person building Lumae, who replies from his own inbox. Nothing is stored in a database. Pre-select a category with `?type=`: `bug` (bug report), `feature` (feature request), `question` (question), `other` (something else).

## What to include

- **Your Lumae version.** Lumae › About Lumae in the menu bar shows it.
- **Your macOS version.** Apple menu › About This Mac.
- **What you expected, and what happened instead.** If you can make it happen again, the steps are the most useful thing you can send.
- **For export problems,** the format and size you picked, and roughly how long the recording is.

The latest release is v0.9.0. Fixes ship through https://lumae.app/changelog, and Lumae offers the update the next time it checks.
