Real motion blur on every zoom.
When the camera zooms or pans, Lumae renders each frame several times across a virtual shutter and averages them, as a camera's sensor does. Fast moves soften naturally, and anything holding still stays sharp.
How it works

Add some movement
Blur appears only while something moves: a zoom, the drawn pointer, or a title with a reveal that travels.

Set the strength
With nothing selected, open the Motion tab and set Zooms, Pointer and Titles under Motion blur. A single title can set its own.

Export
The export takes up to 32 samples a frame where the preview takes 12, so the finished file is smoother still.
What you can change
Each one is named the way it appears in Lumae.
- Zooms
- Blur while the camera moves or scales, from 0 % to 100 %, 50 % by default.
- Pointer
- Blur on the drawn pointer as it travels, 70 % by default. It greys out when the pointer is hidden.
- Titles
- Blur on title text as it animates in, 50 % by default.
- Motion blur, on a title's page
- Overrides the Titles setting for one card, for the reveals that move.
- Reset Motion
- Puts back 50 %, 70 % and 50 %, from the ⋯ menu beside the tab's title.

- Default blur on zooms, a shutter open for half a frame

Can I turn it off?
Yes. Drag each slider to 0 %. Reset Motion, in the ⋯ menu, brings the defaults back.
Will it blur what's inside my recording?
No. Lumae blurs the picture only while a zoom moves or scales, plus the drawn pointer and title text. A video playing inside the window you recorded is left as it was.
Why is the Pointer slider greyed out?
The pointer is set to Hidden in the Cursor tab, so there's nothing to blur.
